1996 Old Kentucky Home Tour

It's time! The 19th Annual Old Kentucky Home Tour is about to Rock & Roll! The two-day ride to Bardstown and back is set for September 14th and 15th. And, Yes! a NEW one-day ride on Sunday!

Saturday riders will have a choice of 45, 62 or 100 miles (one of the toughest centuries around) and 50 miles back to Louisville on Sunday.

Sunday one-day riders have a choice of 10, 22 or 42 miles all with sags. They will start the day with coffee and doughnuts at registration and end with hot dogs (while they last) and refreshments. The 42-milers will be jammin' together at the famous Home-made Cookie Stop.

This year’s new and improved ride will have team recognition at Saturday night's Rockin' Party! Teams of four or more will be judged based on theme, costume, shirts, ideas, etc.

Saturday night we will rock with a spaghetti supper, slide show, door prizes, team prizes, a disc jockey and dancing and fun, fun and more fun. So come and dance your socks off at the sock hop!

Sunday we'll have the King of Flip.... Chris Cakes to flip you a flap jack hot off the griddle! Brochures will be coming your way soon or ask any club officer or get a brochure at your bike shop for more information. Or contact Debbie Browning at (502) 893-4232.

We need volunteers for sags and other fun areas. Contact Brenda Palmer at (502) 267-9175 to help.
