The ‘Fruit Rides’ Return

by Marilee Martin

They’re back! Last year they were a hit. This year they’ll prove to be even more so. What a great way to cool down and socialize after a hot ride. Ahhhhhh!! Paul’s Fruit Market is cutting us a good deal, so visit their stores and thank them for their support! We’ll have fruit after a ride once a week through the middle of August. Picture it: You’ve just pounded out a 15- to 30-mile ride in some pretty intense heat. Now, sweating and trying to cool off, you bite into a chunk of ripe, juicy watermelon or succulent cantaloupe and allow the sweet juice to dribble down your chin. Ahhhhh. These are the rides you DON’T wanna miss.
