It's time to check the air in your tires and enjoy the Fifth Annual Wheels of Justice Bike Ride on Saturday, June 3 at 9:15 am.
Whether you're riding for fitness or enjoyment this event has it all. Pick the short ride which is 19.4 miles and moderately hilly or the long route which is 27.4 miles. Both are sprinkled with interesting history and beautiful scenery. The ride starts and ends at Mike Linnig's Place off Cane Run Road in southwestern Louisville.
Everybody who registers will receive an official 1995 Wheels of Justice 100% cotton T-shirt plus have an opportunity to win some of the many exciting door prizes after the event.
This event benefits the Legal Aid Society (LAS) of Louisville. LAS helps low-income families and individuals by providing high quality legal representation in civil cases. Over 140,000 people in Louisville and 14 surrounding counties live in poverty. Of this number, 35,000 low-income people will have a civil legal problem during 1995. By participating in this ride, you will be making a positive difference in your community and you will be having fun doing it!
The cost of the ride, which includes lunch, is $20 before May 19 and $25 for late registration. For more information and/or a brochure please contact Legal Aid Society Development & Public Relations Director Brent Hinton at (502) 584-1254 ext. 247.
